Meg was a very brave 16 year old who lived in Carroll County, Maryland. In October 2008, after suffering a debilitating headache, she was diagnosed with brain cancer. Her days were abruptly filled with hospitals, doctors, needles and tests.

In spite of the many difficulties Meg faced, she continued to focus on her goals, her dreams and her belief in the future. She had a positive attitude, a beautiful smile and a great sense of humor.

Meg’s story is amazing and truly inspirational. She possessed the courage to stand up to cancer and the grace to share her life lessons with others.
